Our Staff

Brad Davis was named president in January of 2023.  He joined MSB Construction in 2010 after beginning his construction career in 2006.  Prior employment in the construction industry includes gutter, siding, home remodeling, and estimating, as well as insurance adjusting.  Brad continues to serve as a Project Manager and the company’s Safety Manager.  Brad graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2008 with a BA, Entrepreneurship.

Rodney Neilson has been with MSB Construction since 1991, beginning in the field, then to his present position of Project Manager.  Prior employment in the construction industry consisted of quality control and supervision.  Present responsibilities consist of estimating projects, purchasing materials and delivery of same, scheduling subcontractors work, negotiating contracts, job cost control, working with owners and architects and managing projects.

Jeff Straka joined the MSB team in 2020 as a Project Manager. He has been in the construction field since 2006, beginning his career working in the disaster restoration industry. After working as a technician in the field for he transitioned into project management and estimating. In 2015 Jeff began working as a project manager in commercial flooring. He worked in the flooring industry for several years before joining MSB. Jeff is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a BA in Entrepreneurship.

Mike Davis served as President of Mid-South Business Construction, LLC (MSB Construction) from 2004-2022 and has transitioned into a consultant role.  Prior to this position he was vice-president in four multi-billion dollar corporations, three of which supplied the construction industry.  Mike’s role in these companies created routine interaction with the construction trade and their suppliers.  He holds several patents for tools developed to improve carpenter’s productivity.  Mike graduated from Auburn University in 1979 with a BS in Management and Marketing and Engineering emphasis.
